After my final...well, final, and lunch with some really good friends, I worked for a few hours helping the cafeteria get all ready for its renovations. ...it looks so different and cluttered.

I actually started this blog in an attempt to become a better photographer. The intention was to post a picture from each day on here. Which meant that it'll also act as a bit of a photo journal for myself. But then I realized that I didn't really have the time to invest in that goal, and so I ended up just deciding to basically make it a blog/journal thing for anyone (probably most realistically my mom and sister) to keep up with me and my day-to-day life and stuff. However, I'm still a little partial to the picture thing, so feel free to (and please do) leave comments about which ones you really like, or what could make a picture better.

And in case you were wondering about the page name, it's actually from and MxPx song, titled "When Grey Skies Turn Blue." I'm sure I'm taking the lyric grossly out of context, but it's a pretty catchy song, and I thought the lyric (out of context) fit my intent for this blog. I'm not that extraordinary of a person, nor do I do terribly interesting or exciting things, so I tend to think of myself as kind of like the "grey skies". But, I do look for the best of most situations, and hope to kind of portray my "grey skies" as "blue".
